Stylist Level Descriptions

At Jabez Salon, we have the best licensed cosmetologists in Yorba Linda. Team members are dedicated to furthering their individual skills. This is done through extensive, ongoing training and education. As a result, each stylist brings unique and diverse knowledge to their craft.

Our goal is to offer a variety of stylists for you to choose from. After all, the relationship between you and your stylist is an important part of the Jabez experience. It’s a connection and relationship that we hope lasts for many years. To help you better choose your stylist, we’ve outlined each level of stylist:

Associate Stylist/Stylist – One year minimum experience at Jabez Salon with six months of weekly salon training. Completes Goldwell basic color classes. (Meet Rebecca, Jabez Associate Stylist)

Advanced Designer Stylist – One year minimum experience at Jabez Salon. Has met the requirements of Stylist with continued weekly in-salon advanced training. Completes Design Workshop at Bumble and Bumble University in New York. (Meet Melissa, Jabez Advanced Designer Stylist)

Senior Stylist/Advanced Senior Stylist – Four years minimum experience at Jabez Salon. Met the requirements of Stylist I along with bi-weekly in-salon advanced training. Completed Design Studio at Bb.U. Minimum of one advanced Goldwell color class. (Meet Annamarie, Jabez Senior Stylist and Kay, Jabez Advanced Senior Stylist)

Bb. Network Educator – Minimum three years experience, (one year NE training) at Jabez Salon. Met the requirements of Stylist II. Attended NE I and Design Studio at Bb.U. Attends a minimum of two Bb.U courses annually. Assists Education Director with training. (Meet Tara, Jabez Bb. Network Educator)

Education Director – Minimum of five years Bb. Network Educator experience at Jabez Salon. Met the requirements of Bb. NE along with completing NE Program III, NE Program II, Styling II, Curl Workshop and Color Workshop I at Bb.U. Attends advanced Goldwell color classes. Trains and oversees the team in all areas of hairdressing on a weekly bases. (Meet Tomi, Jabez Education Director)

Salon Director – Salon owner. Attends all the requirements of Education Director along with completing Business Immersion I, IIand III at Bb.U. Oversees all aspects of salon operations. (Meet Cindi, Jabez Salon Director)

Skin Care Therapist – Has attended all classes at the Dermal Institute in Los Angeles along with monthly in-house training by Dermalogica Educator. Attends all new classes and conferences at the Dermal Institute annually. Minimum of one make-up class a year. (Meet Tawnya, Jabez Skin Care Therapist)
