My favorite products: Bb. Styling Creme because it has hold but it's not sticky or crunchy. Jane Iredale Liquid Eye Liner–30 years of liner experience and this is the best! Dermalogica Conditioning Body Wash because it doesn't dry my skin out and I love the smell.

How I spend my time off: Watching TV, sleeping, playing Guitar Hero & Rock Band, and eating cookies.

Why I chose this career: I grew up in my family's salon in San Francisco. My Grannie and Mom both went to beauty school (I guess that makes me a 3rd generation beauty school alum). My mom still can't believe I’ve stuck with it this long. The salon is my second home.

My prized possessions: My 42nd birthday present from Jeff, a Lhaso Apso/Chihuahua mix named Peyton (after Manning and Walter).

What inspires me: People who are creative, Japanese pop culture, the youngsters in the salon, and when my team members truly appreciate the time I spend with education.
